Thailand’s Cabinet has approved a 30-day visa exemption for Indian travellers, replacing the previous 60-day visa exemption policy. The new regulation will come into effect after it is officially published in the Royal Gazette.
Under the revised policy, Indian citizens will no longer need to obtain a Visa on Arrival for short visits. Instead, they will be eligible for visa-free entry for up to 30 days, making travel to Thailand more convenient. The move is intended to simplify entry procedures while promoting tourism, enhancing trade, and strengthening bilateral relations between Thailand and India.
