Itinerary
Day 1 :
Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station to Gangtok Hotel
Welcome to the Capital City of Sikkim - Gangtok! Upon arrival in Gangtok, you will get transferred from the railway station to your hotel. Check-in, and spend the rest of the day at your own pace. You can visit attractions such as Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Ganesh Tok, Rumtek Monastery, and many more such attractions. Later, head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 :
Changu Lake Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass
In the morning, get ready to go on a day tour of Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. On the way, make a stop at Kyongnosla, famous for its alpine vegetation & explore the lush green beauty. Further, continue your journey and enjoy a scenic trip from Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake, known for its amazing scenery and colour-changing waters. Later, visit the famous Baba Mandir, which is believed to protect soldiers in the Eastern Himalayas. After the tour, get transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 :
Gangtok to Lachen
Check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Lachen. Enroute, treat yourself to mesmerizing vistas of lush valleys, waterfalls, and snow-capped peaks. Take a small halt at Chungthang and see the confluence of two rivers, Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu. Upon reaching Lachen, check-in at your hotel and unwind around the serene surroundings.
Day 4 :
Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake to Lachung
In the morning, check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Lachung. On the way, take a stop at Gurudongmar Lake, the highest accessible lake in the world surrounded by snow-capped mountains. On the way, pass by the Bhim Nala waterfalls - one of the highest waterfalls in Sikkim. After a day of scenic delights, arrive in Lachung and check-in at your hotel for a restful overnight stay.
Day 5 :
Lachung to Yumgthng Valley to Zero Points to Gangtok
Check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Gangtok. On the way, get ready to go on the Yumthang Valley sightseeing tour. Explore the breathtaking Yumthang Valley, known as the Valley of Flowers, where you'll be amazed by a number of charming and sweet-smelling flowers. Further, continue your journey to Gangtok, check-in at your hotel and have an overnight stay.
Day 6 :
Gangtok to Ravangla Buddha Park to Pelling
Check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Pelling. On the way, take a stop at Ravangla and visit the Buddha Park, home to a 130 ft. high Shakyamuni Buddha Statue. After sightseeing, continue to Pelling and admire the scenic views of Kanchenjunga on the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7 :
Pelling Full Day Sight Seeing
Start your day by going for the sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, Khecheopalri Monastery and Pemayangtse Monastery. Continue to Rimbi Waterfalls and Kanchenjunga Waterfall and marvel at the scenic vistas. Then, explore Rabdentse Ruins and take in the scenic vistas. After the amazing city tour, get transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8 :
Pelling to Darjeeling
In the morning, check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Darjeeling, a charming hill station situated around the majestic Himalayas. As you travel to Darjeeling, witness the amazing views of the tea plantations. Upon reaching your hotel in Darjeeling, check-in and spend the day at your own pace. You can explore Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, Rimbik, Ghum Monastery, and other such attractions.
Day 9 :
Darjeeling Full Day Sight Seeing
Start your day by going for the Darjeeling sightseeing tour and exploring the beauty of the “Queen of Hills”. Witness iconic attractions such as Tiger Hill, from where you can get the spectacular sunrise of the peaks of Himalayas. Further, visit the Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery and listen to the chantings at these monasteries. After the amazing tour, get transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10 :
Departure
Bid farewell to Darjeeling as you get transferred to NJP Station/ Bagdogra Airport for your journey back home. Depart with a heart full of fond memories and a desire to return to the serene beauty of the Himalayas.
