Itinerary
Upon your arrival, the driver will transfer you from the Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station to your hotel in Gangtok. Upon arrival check into your hotel. Once you check-in, the remaining day is yours to enjoy and rejuvenate. You can also explore the MG Road and shop for some unique souvenirs.
The driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you on an amazing Gangtok excursion. Visit the famous Tsomgo Lake aka Changu Lake, situated at an elevation of 3,753 m, and admire the scenic beauty of the surroundings. Head towards the holy Baba Mandir and get to know about the history of this temple. You can also visit Nathula Pass, one of the most important passes on the Indo-China border (at your own expense). Head back to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Check-out from your hotel after which the driver will pick you up and take you to Darjeeling. Pass through the scenic landscapes and marvel at the panoramic snow-covered Himalayan peaks & tea gardens. Once you check in at the hotel, the remaining day is yours to enjoy and rejuvenate. You can explore the bustling Mall Road in Darjeeling and shop for some unique souvenirs.
Arrive on the top of Tiger Hill at 4 AM (approx.) and see the beautiful sun rays hit Mt. Kanchenjunga & adjoining peaks as dawn arrives. Be amazed by the panoramic view of the Darjeeling hill station surrounded by the Eastern Himalayas as you reach the famous Batasia Loop (Army Memorial). Marvel at a 15-foot high Maitreya Buddha statue (made of clay bought from Tibet) while exploring the Ghoom Monastery. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Thursday closed) which conducts mountaineering and adventure courses.
Explore Darjeeling Zoo (Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park) which is the largest high-altitude zoo in India. Head towards Tenzing Rock and get to know about its history. Roam around the tea estates that produce the best quality tea, popular all over the world. Visit the Tibetan Refugee Center and Peace Pagoda, a Japanese Temple in Darjeeling.
Pack your bags and check-out from your hotel in Darjeeling. The driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to NJP Station/Bagdogra Airport (IXB), where your exhilarating 5-day journey will come to an end.
